What did he do in Portland?
Before 10:30pm on Sunday, police responded to a 911 call from someone who reported that protesters “chased a white Ford” four-by-four truck, which then crashed in the downtown area, according to a department .
Protesters then dragged the driver out of the vehicle, one witness stated.
Another told police an estimated nine to 10 people began “beating the guy.”
Love allegedly punched and kicked the man in the head.

However, the driver denied that he was targeting protesters.
In one of the videos, he can be heard saying, "I ain’t tryna hurt no one," before he was knocked out.
When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the man beaten unconscious and took him to a nearby hospital.
Police said they had probable cause for Love's arrest.
