Who is Marquise Love? The BLM Portland protester arrested for assaulting a truck driver
POLICE have arrested Marquise Love after cops say he was caught on video beating a truck driver who may have attempted to run over protesters at a Black Lives Matter rally.
The video has made its rounds on the internet as the truck driver, Adam Haner, is seen nearing protesters and crashing his truck into a sidewalk.
after he was seen allegedly unconscious as he claimed man tried to run the protesters over with his truck.
He is as footage of the incident has surfaced all over the internet.
Protesters then dragged the driver out of the vehicle, one witness stated.
Another told police an estimated nine to 10 people began “beating the guy.”
Records show he was charged with assault, coercion and riot, all felonies.
While protests have been mostly peaceful, on several occasions as people take to the streets.
Similarly, in Chicago, many have also protested against Floyd’s death and others like at the demonstrations.
Chicago Police made more than 100 arrests in one night.
13 police officers were also injured.
