SHAMELESS mum-of-eight Marie Buchan who has boasted of her “easy” life on benefits has been pictured shopping for a brand new Range Rover worth £70,000.
The welfare scrounger – who rakes in £31,000 a year in handouts - was seen looking at a fleet of the luxury motors in a car showroom.
Marie – who has been dubbed octomom – recently appeared on Myleene Klass’ show Single Mums On Benefits.
She admitted living on benefits was “very easy” and told Myleene: “You obviously have a baby, you send off the application form, birth certificate, they assess it and then you’ve got your money in your account. It is very easy.”
The 33-year-old found fame after appearing on several TV shows, including This Morning and Channel 5’s Benefits Britain: Life on the Dole.
Wearing a black midi dress and flanked by a friend Marie spent time browsing the pricey motors, even trying out the driver’s seat for comfort.
She spoke with a salesman and took a particular interested in a grey model of the car which is popular with celebs.

Self-proclaimed ‘Welfare Queen’ Marie already has a four-bedroomed council house after claiming benefits cuts would leave her on the breadline.
She is careful not to exceed the 16 hours a week so she can keep her tax payer handouts, it’s been claimed.
Following her appearance with Myleene the scrounger said: “It’s been quite strange, I have already had Katie Hopkins and Jody Marsh at my house, and now Myleene Klass.
“She didn’t seem to in any way criticise me but I am aware that TV can be edited in a certain way so I will wait until the show goes out to see exactly what is said.
“But certainly Myleene as a person and mother was very supportive and she is welcome back to my home anytime.”
Marie, of Selly Oak, Birmingham, came close to being evicted after getting £4,000 in arrears on rent, earlier this year.
Since the show was filmed, Marie has found a job as a carer at weekends but doesn’t earn enough to affect her benefits.
She added: “I still get a lot of hate mail and abuse and I certainly get disgusting suggestions sent to me through Facebook and social media.
“First and foremost I am a mum. I have eight lovely kids, we are a strong family unit and we support each other, the kids support each other at school.
“I am very optimistic and always looking forward and I want to thank Myleene for being such a wonderful house guest.”
