Drunk single mum, 34, who bit PC’s face following 2am car crash, escapes jail after insisting she’s a ‘good role model’
Dawn Walker sank her teeth into officer's cheek and told him to ''f*** off'' when he tried to arrest her following smash in Bacup, Lancs.

A DRUNKEN single mother who mauled a policeman's face as he tried to arrest her over a 2am car crash has escaped jail after she insisted she was a ''good role model'' to her three children.
Dawn Walker, 34, sank her teeth into the cheek of PC Thomas Lord and told him to ''f*** off'' after she went berserk at him as he asked her to provide a breath sample.
Initially Walker who has a daughter aged 15 and twins aged 11 refused to get out of her mangled Renault Megane which hit a parked car but then began struggling violently as other officers came to PC Lord's aide.
They were eventually forced to restrain the party-loving blonde on the bonnet of her vehicle as PC Lord nursed a tear in his cheek breaking the skin.
Walker, who subsequently refused to give a breath test at the police station, later claimed she could recall nothing of her arrest.

The incident on May 15 occurred less than three weeks after Walker, a cleaner, from Bacup, Lancs, was fined for police assault after she kicked one officer in the chest and booted another in the shin during another bust-up.
At Burnley magistrates court she admitted police assault and failing to provide a specimen for analysis but escaped with a 12-month community order after her lawyer and a probation officer said she was a ''troubled lady with a short fuse''.
In mitigation her lawyer Ben Leech said his client had been in a violent, abusive relationship with her partner, but had tried over the last few years to keep things together for her children.
He added: “She is ashamed and regrets it bitterly. She has always tried to be a good role model for her children. She recognises she wasn't that when she was 18, but moving on she has tried to be a role model. She has always worked so her children can see she is somebody who is hard-working."
Probation officer Peter Slater, who interviewed Walker said she had lost both her grandmothers and a close friend in recent months. She had suffered " years of abuse," and last year had a major breakdown.
Slater said: "She began to drink 24 hours a day and had been drinking three bottles of wine a night . She went to Inspire (the treatment service) and managed to cut back from drinking every single day.
"She is still a very troubled lady. She still has issues dealing with bereavement and she has struggled all her life to come to terms with the suicide of her brother.
''I think this is a lady more in need of help than punishment. She knows she has done wrong. She doesn't need reminding. She has alcohol and mental health issues and anger issues. She clearly has a short fuse. She did describe the bite as not really a serious bite.''
Walker was also ordered to undergo a 30 hours rehabilitation activity requirement, pay £300 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. She was banned from driving for 12 months.
