Horrifying footage shows a female driver speeding down the middle lane of the M25 while reading.
The shocking video, filmed by a stunned passenger in another car, shows a lady wearing reading glasses looking at a piece of paper while steering a dark grey Vauxhall Astra.
The irresponsible motorist looks relaxed as she transports another person who is sat in the front passenger seat.
Clearly in need of a Sat Nav device, the absent-minded lady speeds down the busy motorway completely unaware she is being filmed.
Her poor driving was further compounded by the fact that she was hogging the middle lane of the busy road.
The M25 is one of the UK’s most congested motorway networks and can have up to 196,000 vehicles travelling on it on a single day.
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency advises road users to “always plan your journey before you set off and, if possible, plan alternative routes in case there’s a problem with your original route.”
