A MET Police copper has admitted making indecent images of a teenage girl he met on dating app Tinder.

Stephen McMillan, 26, of Aylesbury, filmed his victim performing a sex act on him and sent an obscene image of her to three of his friends after he met her through the mobile dating app.

He was convicted of child pornography offences at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday after pleading guilty to making an indecent photograph of a child and distribution of the image between August 19 and September 14 in 2014.

He also admitted inciting a child to be involved in pornography and was found to be in possession of extreme pornographic images after pictures were found during a download of his mobile phone.

He is currently suspended from duties while the Metropolitan Police carry out an investigation.

Detective Sergeant Kerry Bradfield, the investigating officer, said: “Thames Valley Police takes all reports of sexual offences seriously and will listen and treat anyone who comes forward to report a sexual offence with the utmost sensitivity.

“McMillan pleaded guilty to these offences, which were carried out against a teenage girl."

She added: “The making and distribution of indecent images involving those under the age of 18 is illegal and this conviction demonstrates Thames Valley Police will investigate to ensure all offenders are brought to justice.”

McMillan is due to be sentenced on July 4 at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.
