Gucci selling men’s handbags inspired by Jackie Kennedy for £1,700 each
MEN’S handbags inspired by First Lady Jackie Kennedy are for sale at £1,700 from Gucci.
The fashion house has long produced bulky bags for fellas’ wallets, keys and phones.
The new Jackie 1961 hobo range rivals those available in Gucci’s women’s section.
They cost £1,240 for a fabric version and up to £1,680 for leather.
Gucci said: “Created in 1961, the bag was often photographed with Jackie Kennedy and soon became known as The Jackie.
“The recognisable shape is presented in black leather and enhanced with detachable shoulder strap.

"Attached to the bag with a buckle closure, the second strap adds a contemporary feel, providing new ways to wear — from top handle, shoulder to cross body.”
“Pieces with versatile ways to wear and style embrace each person who is part of the House’s individual spirit.
"The Jackie 1961: available exclusively in Gucci stores and on Gucci.com.”
