DESIGNER, retailer and restauranteur Sir Terence Conran has died at the age of 88.
The founder of Habitat, who was known for bringing Scandinavian style to the UK, "passed away peacefully today at his Barton Court home", according to family.
What was Sir Terence Conran's net worth?
He opened the first Habitat shop in Chelsea, London and went on to found The Conran Shop. Conrad has also opened more than 50 restaurants over the years.
According to the designer’s 2016 book My Life in Design, his net worth was an estimated £85million.
Who is his wife Vicki?
He was married four times during his life.
In 2000 he married Vicki Davis, a design-business manager 25 years his junior. She survives him, along with his daughter and four sons.
In a statement the family said: "He was a visionary who enjoyed an extraordinary life and career that revolutionised the way we live in Britain."
