Brit tourist, 29, rushed to hospital in a coma after ‘drink and drug overdose’ in Ibiza as family make desperate plea to cover his medical expenses

A BRITISH tourist is fighting for his life after he reportedly took a deadly cocktail of alcohol and drugs on the party island of Ibiza.
Stacey Dean Robert Rose, 29, is said to have suffered a heart attack after overdosing in the resort of San Antonio.
The man was thrown out of a bar on Tuesday night and was found by police in a dive school on the island.
He collapsed while he waited for an ambulance to arrive.
He was revived at the scene, before being transferred to hospital.
The Brit is in an induced coma in Can Misses Hospital and his condition has been described as serious.
Hospital sources told a local paper that his condition was caused by “toxic substances”.
Rose was also suffering from hypothermia.
A Guardia Civil source said: “He was very agitated and aggressive when officers found him and suffered a heart attack while they were waiting for paramedics to arrive.
“He was revived at the scene and taken to hospital by ambulance.”
Rose’s family have rushed to the party island to be at his bedside.
Relatives have launched a crowdfunding appeal after it was revealed that his liver and kidneys are not functioning properly.

A relative wrote on the site: “Yesterday morning my sister-in-law received a phone call saying her younger brother Stacey was in hospital in Ibiza in a coma and his kidneys and liver are not functioning properly and his heart is irregular.
“Stacey was found on Saturday in a ditch and has been in a coma since the doctors tried to wake him yesterday but he is still not responding.
“Stacey is in a serious but stable condition.”
So far, the family have raised over £1,000.
Pal Lee Rivers wrote on the fundraising page: “Hi mate, praying for a full recovery for you.”
Another said: “Thoughts are with you and your family. Get well soon bud.”
Rose was staying in a hotel in the Bay of San Antonio.
Reports say that he forced his way into the dive centre, where he later collapsed.
Relatives have not confirmed that the incident was caused by a drink and drugs overdose.
