Who are John Lennon’s sons Sean and Julian?
DECEMBER 8 marks the 41st anniversary of John Lennon's death and his widow Yoko Ono used this anniversary to speak out against gun violence.
The Beatles star outside The Dakota in in 1980, leaving behind his wife and sons, Sean and Julian.
His father married his first wife, Cynthia, in 1962 but the couple divorced four years later when Julian was only five years old.
Julian was the inspiration for three of the Beatles most famous songs, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Hey Jude, and Good Night.
Like his father, Julian produced a number of albums, his first being Valotte in 1984, and had two top ten singles in the UK with Too Late For Goodbyes in 1984 and Saltwater in 1991.
Sean later attended Columbia University for three semesters before dropping out to focus on his music.
Like his older half-brother, Sean is a musician and producer and appeared to be a carbon copy of his father when he was spotted in New York City on September 30, 2021.
"I had abortions," she said. "But who didn’t? Look, I was certainly no match for John, in that sense.
"If a woman has more than one man, she’s considered a wh*re; if a man has more than one woman, he’s a ladies’ man. I was no match for John."
In the interview, Yoko Ono was also quoted as having previously said, "I was always having abortions because I was too neurotic to take precautions".
Does John Lennon have any grandchildren?
Sean has been in a relationship with singer Charlotte Kemp Muhl since 2008, but the couple does not have any children.
Likewise, Julian has not married nor has he had any children.
