Scouse nurse claims accent was ‘misunderstood’ when he asked to ‘suck a woman’s nipples’
His victim claims 'he was stood right next to me I heard him say it very clearly'
A NURSE accused of telling a colleague: “I would love to suck your nipples”, claims she misunderstood his Scouse accent.
Joey Bannister is also said to have told her: “You have lovely big t*ts.”
Bannister admits saying: "Your tits look great in that top I bet you have big sucky nipples."
He added: "If I was single I would" and "I'm all horny now" before warning her not to tell anybody at Broadoak Manor Nursing Home in Parr, St Helens, Merseyside.
But he denies telling the woman he wanted to actually suck her nipples.
The woman told the Nursing and Midwifery Council he said it as they cleared a work shed.
She told the hearing: "I was shocked and shouted out to other staff as I wanted to remove myself from the situation.
"I could not comprehend how he could think that it was okay to say something like that to me.
"He was stood right next to me, I heard him say it very clearly.
“It was not said in jest.”
Bannister denies saying he wanted to suck her nipples at Bupa’s St Nicholas Nursing Home in Bootle, Liverpool.

John Taggart, for the Nursing and Midwifery Council, explained: “He said maybe she did not hear him clearly due to his thick Liverpool accent.”
It was said Bannister put his hands down a colleague’s tights three years earlier at another Bupa home, Broadoak Manor in St Helens.
She told her manager she had been sexually assaulted and cops interviewed Bannister.
The London hearing is due to end tomorrow.
