A 19-YEAR-old dad allegedly shook his baby so hard that "three-fourths of his brain is dead" and he's "neurologically devastated."
Isaiah Hill has been accused of assaulting his eight-month-old son Milo in his home in Portland, Oregon, reported.
Hill allegedly admitted to "shaking" the baby as he was questioned by the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Multidisciplinary Child Abuse Team.
He also reportedly confessed to "squeezing, and dropping the child on a bed."
When first responders arrived at Hill's home on October 10, Milo was found having trouble breathing and suffering from seizures.
Court docs state that Hill called Milo's mom approximately 30 minutes after the incident.
The boy's 18-year-old mom, Hailey Raney, was interviewed on Thursday from the Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
Raney told : “He had a stroke that affected both sides of his brain, so three-fourths of his brain is dead."
Before her son was taken to the hospital, Raney recounted how she found him.
She explained: "Immediately when I saw my son, he was not okay.
"His eyes were rolled back to his head, lips were already purple.
"He was moving but it wasn’t normal baby movement and he was making a very loud grunting noise.”
The former couple had been alternating days to care for their son, Raney told the news outlet.
The boy's dad first told that he accidently dropped Milo when he tripped over a dog.
Hill told the same story to Raney – which prompted her to call 911.
Court docs, obtained by KPTV, state that Milo was found to have a “profuse brain injury” and spine damage at the hospital.
