World’s largest porn website launches new channel aimed at blind people
Pornhub targets new market with narrators describing scenes in bid to cater to the visually impaired
THE WORLD’S largest porn site has launched a channel for blind people – with graphic audio descriptions of the X-rated action.
A narrator talks over the moans and groans to describe what the models look like, what they are doing and wearing, and the positions they are in.
The adult site says the “described video” section has been “tailored and crafted to give the user full enjoyment of the scene”.
And it added: “It’s our goal to service all of our users’ needs.”
The section currently features 50 videos, targeted at a range of viewers including straight, female-friendly, gay, bi, and transsexual.
Each is voiced by professional actors speaking in dead-pan tones.
One blue video starts: “The video begins with a small latina with dirty blonde hair lying face down on a massage table with nothing but a small towel covering her *****.”
The company said it was hoping to start a “larger dialogue within Pornhub’s community with regards to how the site can not only better serve the visually impaired, but to also understand how to make the site accessible to all.”
