‘Gorgeous’ girl, 21, falls to her death from Tenerife hotel balcony days into ‘summer of fun’

A 21-year-old excited for a “summer of adventures and fun” has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Tenerife.
Ramona Fagan plummeted to her death just two days into her holiday after resort staff were unable to revive her.
Tributes have since poured in for Ramona, who gushed about her “summer of fun” just days before her death, saying she was “so excited [she] could explode”.
Writing on social media, Ramona’s friends have expressed their shock and grief at the passing of such a “loving, kind-hearted woman”.

One heartbroken friend remembered the 21-year-old: “You never really know what's around the corner.
"Such a sweet beautiful and genuine girl.”
Another paid tribute to their friend: “People need to know how much of a loving kind hearted person you were.
"You were the best friend to me for years.
“Been through so much together.”
“Don't think we were never not laughing when we were together.
“Have the best memories of my life with ya and I'm so glad I have had the pleasure to grow up with you.”
Meanwhile, another friend wrote: “Cannot believe I’m writing this, you were a beautiful young girl taken too soon.
“Thinking of your family and big group of friends.”
According to reports by the, Ramona, from Cork, Ireland, had moved out to the Canary Islands with a friend earlier this month, and was due to stay there for six weeks in total.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance.
According to reports, Ramona’s body will be returned to Cork within the next week.
