Three family members held after 78-year-old grandad found dead in Essex
Forensic cops have been scouring scene while police confirm family arrests

COPS have been quizzing three relatives of a grandad found murdered in his home.
Brian Hurry, 78, was discovered slumped over his bath covered in blood on Saturday.
On Sunday police were standing guard outside a nearby terraced house where Mr Hurry’s son, Sean, 43, lives with his wife, Terri, 41, and their two children.
Two miles away, forensics officers scoured the home where Mr Hurry’s step-grandson Michael McDonald, 24, lives with his girlfriend.
Cops confirmed on Sunday night they were interviewing a 43-year-old man, a woman aged 41 and a 24-year-old man in connection with Mr Hurry’s murder.
Police were called to his home in a two-storey block for the elderly in Chelmsford, Essex, at 5pm on Saturday.
A passer-by found the front door open with the keys in the lock.
A neighbour of Brian’s ex-wife Ann Hurry — Sean’s mum — said: “It’s been a massive shock for her. Sean is a nice lad. He used to go fishing with Brian. They get on well.”
Essex Police initially called the death unexplained but yesterday launched a murder probe.
