FBI releases 911 calls from club massacre gunman Omar Mateen who told negotiator in ARABIC that the US must stop bombing Iraq and Syria
Shooter sends chilling warning to police that 'more of this type of action' will happen
Orlando gunman Omar Mateen spoke to negotiators while he held Pulse nightclub revellers hostage, demanding that the US “stop bombing Syria and Iraq”.
The FBI has released a partial phone transcript from the moment that Mateen attacked Pulse nightclub, killing 49.
Mateen talked to the emergency services in Arabic just 35 minutes after he entered the nightclub.
He told the 911 operator: “I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.”
Gunman Mateen spoke to negotiators three times while he held Orlando revellers hostage.
He told them that he was an Islamic soldier and wanted America to stop bombing Syria and Iraq.
In a chilling warning the shooter told negotiators: “In the next few days you’re going to see more of this type of action going on.”
The FBI have previously released that the gunman had pledged allegiance to ISIS and Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi over the phone.

Mateen said that he had a suicide vest on, like the kind they “used in France.”
When police tried to ask him what he had done, all he said was: “No, you already know what I did.”
He threatened that he was going to ignite a car bomb outside the club if police did anything rash.
He said: “There is some vehicle outside that has some bombs, just to let you know. You people are gonna get it, and I’m gonna ignite it if they try to do anything stupid.”
Over the three calls, the killer talked to police for just under 30 minutes.
Mateen stormed the nightclub at around 2.00am and called 911 at 2.35am.
He then spoke to negotiators at 2.48am, 3.03am and 3.24am.
At 5.02am, Orlando police stormed the club and at 5.15am, they confirmed that the gunman was dead.
The gunman also posted on Facebook during the horrific massacre.
He wrote: "Now taste the Islamic state (ISIS) vengeance."
Mateen also took to social media to denounce "the filthy ways of the west".
This comes the day after thousands gathered in Orlando to commemorate those who died in the vicious attack.
The sick attacker also texted his wife during the fatal shootout.
According to police, he asked wife Noor Salman if she had seen the news.
She reportedly replied saying: "I love you."
Gabrielle Claire, an Universal Orlando worker who says she knew three Pulse victims said: "As a community, it's important that we gather together to show our support because only together can we move forward.
"We don't have to be afraid of holding each other. We don't have to be afraid of saying to other people, 'I'm here for you.'"
According to hospital officials, four people remain in a critical condition over a week after the terrible incident.
