Former NASA engineer unveils the world’s biggest Nerf gun and it’s TERRIFYING
ASTONISHING weapon looks like a gatling gun, blasts out soft bullets at 40 mph and can do some serious damage

Many readers will fondly remember the innocent days when they fought battles using Nerf guns.
But any child who blasts their chum with a former NASA engineer's foam bullet-firing weapon could find themselves guilty of a very serious crime indeed.
Mark Rober, a rocket scientist turned crazy inventor, has unveiled a super-sized weapon he claims is the world's largest ever Nerf gun.
He left the American space agency in 2013 to focus on showing off his .
But his latest creation is perhaps the most astonishing of all the weird and wonderful devices he's dreamed up.
"People have these Nerf dart wars at work sometimes, so in an effort to stop people picking on me I decided to create the world's largest functioning Nerf gun," the madcap scientist said in a since it was uploaded last night.
The massive gun looks like the sort of thing you'd see installed on the top of a tank, but fires soft bullets.
These are made of "pool noodles" with plungers plonked on the end, which means they can "actually stick to things".
However, these foam munitions blast out of the gun at speeds of up to 40mph, which is powerful enough to smash through a pane of glass.

Rober and his friends also used 3D printing to produce aerodynamic bullets which can travel the length of an American football field and ammunition so powerful it can destroy a melon.
In his video, Rober recorded the moment he confronted some innocent kids with his homemade weapon of mass destruction.
"I challenged my nieces and nephews to a Nerf dart war, but I may have neglected to tell them about my invention," he joked.
It's fair to say the engineer won this particular battle.
