Waitrose slammed for lining shelves with Christmas goods six months early
Bewildered customers baulk as upmarket chain puts mincemeat and mulled wine up for sale in June
SHOPPERS have blasted posh Waitrose stores — for selling Christmas goods more than SIX MONTHS early.
The supermarket chain appear to be the first major brand to have started the festive season in June, with products such as mulled wine and mincemeat on sale already.
Even the shops’ coffee cups are getting in the spirit and are decorated with Christmas trees already.
McFly star Tom Fletcher told his fans of the unexpected sight of mincemeat for sale at his local Waitrose.
