THE victim of a terrifying armed road rage attack says police didn't even send officers to the scene because the suspect had 'already got away'.
The machete-wielding road rage thug was filmed smashing the family's car as they sat inside with their "traumatised" daughter.
Shocking footage shows him attacking the windscreen during this morning's school run in Dudley,
A 23-year-old mum, who did not want to be named, said four 999 calls were made by terrified parents and witnesses.
But she claims police didn't turn up, and after calling 101 she was told an officer would be in touch on Thursday.
The mum told BirminghamLive: "This isn't good enough.
'TRAUMATISING'
"This is a dangerous man who has pulled out a weapon.
"Police need to act now. A man with a machete has gone free. It's crazy."
Her partner had told a van driver to slow down when he sped round a corner.
Moments later, the van's passenger launched the unprovoked attack outside the school gates.
The mum said: "It's really traumatising. There were children walking around.
"We are still in shock. They sped around the corner and nearly clipped us.
"Both vehicles had to come to an emergency stop because of how he swung around the corner.
"He then pulled his window down and my partner just said: 'Brother, there's children running around, crossing the street - slow down next time.'
"And then it was pure aggro, making threats trying to reach in to grab my partner.
"While he's doing that I can see the passenger get out. I thought he was up to no good and pulled my phone out to start recording him.
My daughter was also in the back crying. She's absolutely traumatised. It's disgusting

"You can see the machete in his hand. The video is less than 10 seconds long - that's how quickly it escalated."
The men fled the scene, but she took down down the number plate of their grey-coloured Mercedes.
Her terrified daughter was left in tears after the horrifying ordeal.
She added: "My daughter was also in the back crying. She's absolutely traumatised. It's disgusting.
