Shocking moment rampaging PE teacher attacks his ex-lover colleague in front of dozens of horrified students at the school where they BOTH work
Chemistry teacher ex says that she will not tell police about the horrific incident
This is the shocking moment that a PE teacher viciously attacked his ex-girlfriend colleague in the middle of the school playground.
Gym teacher Florin Alin Ilie, 25, assaulted his former lover, 30, on International Children’s Day in Hulubesti, southern Romania.
The horrific incident was captured on CCTV footage at the school.
In the middle of a packed playground, the scorned former lover takes the woman by the arm and attempts to drag her away.
The terrified chemistry teacher visibly resists the man and tries to pull away from him.
Two other teachers rush to the woman’s aid, only to be rebuffed by the scorned PE teacher.
Ilie manages to hit the girl over the face while the others try to separate them.
In escalating scenes, the man aims a kick and a punch before he is finally dragged away by the other teachers.
She returns back to the crowded playground.
But the woman told local media that she would not tell police about what had happened.
Reporters said that they used to be a couple but she broke up with him.
According to the chemistry teacher, Ilie was jealous because she had started dating another.
She said: "Only he knows what his thoughts were when he attacked me. I won't sue him, because I am a kind soul. I assume he lost his temper and was jealous."
"I feel sorry for him and his family and I can't harm him in any way, even though I was the victim in this case.
"It was a very ugly thing to attack me in public. I will probably forgive him, but I won't re-start our relationship."
The school are investigating the attack and will sanction both teachers.
Professor Sorin Ion from the local County School Inspectorate said: "It's a shame when such incidents happen in front of the students.
"I was informed about the incident and we are investigating it. Both teachers will be sanctioned."
