Donald Trump will appear in New York City court on October 2, 2023, as the civil fraud trial against him and related parties begins.

The trial targets Trump, his eldest sons, their companies and Trump Organization executives of persistent business fraud.

Trump turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail in August 2023 in relation to separate accusations.

According to , he surrendered to over a dozen charges in relation to his fourth criminal case of conspiracy and racketeering.

On August 14, 2023, Trump, alongside 18 of his associates, was charged with conspiracy and racketeering in Georgia over 2020 election interference.

According to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, they "knowingly and willfully joined conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Trump."

"Defendant Donald John Trump lost the United States presidential election held on November 3, 2020. One of the states he lost was Georgia," the indictment reads.

"Trump and the other defendants charged in this indictment refused to accept that Trump lost, and they knowingly and willfully joined conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Trump.

"That conspiracy contained common plan and purpose to commit two or more acts of racketeering activity in Fulton County, Georgia, elsewhere in the State of Georgia, and in other states."

The indictment claims that the defendants "unlawfully conspired and endeavored to conduct and participate in criminal enterprise in Fulton County, Georgia, and elsewhere."

The indictment lists 41 charges against the 19 defendants.

Previously, on August 3, 2023, former president Donald Trump arrived at the E. Barrett Prettyman courthouse in Washington, DC to be arraigned on criminal charges involving the 2020 election interference.

Upon arrival, Trump was formally placed under arrest for the third time before the arraignment.

During his arraignment, Trump pleaded not guilty.

What happened at Donald Trump's last Town Hall?

On July 18, 2023, Donald Trump held another town hall with Fox News commentator, Sean Hannity in an attempt to recover what went down during his last town hall.

During Trump's previous town hall with CNN's Kaitlan Collins, things got heated up between the two.

Throughout the aired event, the two were seen talking over one another while discussing his classified documents scandal.

During this exchange, the former president called Collins "a nasty person" and said he "had every right to under the Presidential Records Act" to obtain the classified documents.

Collins proceeded to approach Trump with a variety of questions, including several about the verdict involving the E. Jean Carroll case.

While Carroll was awarded $5million in damages for battery and defamation, the jury did not find Trump liable for rape.

"This woman, I don't know her. I never met her. I have no idea who she is," Trump commented on the topic.

He later went on to discuss his views on the war in Ukraine.

"If I’m president, I will have that war settled in one day, 24 hours,” he said.

When asked who he'd want to win in the war, Trump responded: "They both have weaknesses and they both have strengths and within 24 hours that war will be settled. It'll be over, it'll be absolutely over."

Trump's civil case trial is expected to continue into October, with opening remarks beginning October 2, 2023.

But Trump has been charged in four criminal cases over a roughly five-month span. He also faces three separate civil suits.
