Gardener Googled ‘extreme porn’ the night before he raped and murdered schoolgirl Kayleigh Haywood
TEEN victim's family weep as evil pair are sentenced
A GARDENER Googled extreme porn and child abuse films the night before he raped and murdered a schoolgirl, it has emerged on the same day he was jailed for life.
Stephen Beadman battered 15-year-old Kayleigh Haywood to death after his pal, Luke Harlow, groomed her online and lured her to his house in November.
Online predator Harlow was caged for 12 years at Nottingham Crown Court this afternoon.
It was also revealed he has been beaten up by fellow lags and left with a black eye.
Beadman was handed 15 years for rape and life for murder, with the judge saying a 35 year minimum.
Now it has been revealed sick Beadman was addicted to violent porn and child abuse images.
He searched online for "extreme pornography" just hours before holding Kayleigh prisoner in his neighbour's house for more than five hours.
After Beadman's arrest, police trawled through his computer equipment and discovered dozens of indecent images of children, including the most serious category, as well as hundreds of pictures featuring violent porn.
The twisted pair sat as far apart in the dock as possible and were flanked by four security guards.
Before delivering her sentence, Mrs Justice Cox told an emotionless Beadman: "You knew Kayleigh was 15 and had been groomed.
"You did not kill her straight away. You led her away and raped her.
"Her pain and terror are difficult to contemplate.
"Your crime did not stop at rape.
"Kayleigh had to be identified through dental records."
She said he will serve longer than the minimum 30 year sentence because he waited three days to tell cops what he had done.
The judge also labelled Harlow an "intelligent" and "calculated" online predator, as it was revealed he had also groomed two OTHER underage girls online and met them for sex.
She said: “This case illustrates dangers of social media for you people because of people like Harlow.
“You persistently and in a calculating way groomed young girls.
“Evidence shows you to be intelligent, not the socially isolated and immature man you have been portrayed as.
"Kayleigh was a young and sexually inexperienced schoolgirl.
"You knew her age and met her, knowing she had lied to her family.
"You and Beadman held Kayleigh captive.
"That night there was a moment when Kayleigh escaped and you, Beadman chased her.
"Kayleigh was extremely distressed."
She added: "The messages from you to her were emotional manipulation.
"That is a serious aggravating factor."
Earlier in court a statement from her mum Stephanie read: "Kayleigh was only a child.
"She was my baby.
"Not only was I robbed of my daughter, I was robbed of saying my last goodbye to her."
She added: "How does a mum explain to someone how her child was taken by evil people?"
