Raging bull knocks down people like skittles before seeing red on the main road

THIS is the moment a rampaging bull wreaks havoc after seeing red in a market.

The hulking beast butts bystanders and knocks a motorcyclist off his bike during its furious rampage in China.

The bulky bovine's destructive spree was caught on a CCTV camera in Jinghong city, in the country's southwestern Yunnan Province.

One person was seriously injured and two others were slightly wounded.

In the footage, the brute can be seen charging towards a group of unsuspecting people before smashing through them and knocking them over like skittles.

The angry mammal then runs amok through the crowd for a second time, upending a motorcycle leaning against a trailer before smashing into a line of parked bikes.

Showing no sign of slowing down, the crazed critter heads for the main road, choosing a moving car as his next target.

The angry bull then fixes his gaze on a red motorbike as he stops briefly before charging the panicked rider.

The biker is knocked to the ground by the horned beast who only pauses to regain his balance as his back legs give way.

The animal then turns on the biker for the second time, butting the victim towards a tree before trampling over the tumbling man and disappearing from view after a black car.

It is widely believed the colour red angers bulls, inciting them to charge but in fact the cattle are red-green colour blind but in bullfighting it is actually the movement of the matador's cape, and not the colour, which provokes the reaction in the animal.
