Police carry out controlled blast on suspicious car before tonight's quarter final match
POLICE in Paris have blown up a car outside the Stade de France just hours before Euro 2016 hosts France take on underdogs Iceland.
Fans making their way to the national stadium heard a loud blast as the unattended car was destroyed at around 4pm local time.
Cops prevented spectators from continuing their journey to the ground until 7pm local time (6pm BST) due to the security alert.
France will play Iceland - who last week humiliated England to reach the quarter finals - tonight at 8pm BST.
