England fan battered by Russian ultras wakes up from coma and forgets that Leicester City won the title
Stewart Gray, who was attacked in Marseilles, has lost all memory of his club's historic win
A FOOTIE fan beaten up at Euro 2016 no longer remembers his Leicester City idols winning the Premier League.
Engineer Stewart Gray, 47, is feared to have been hit with a hammer by Russian thugs who almost killed him in France last month.
He is now out of a coma after being flown back to the UK.
But his brother Duncan, 40, revealed all memory of the Foxes being crowned champions has been lost, although the family hopes he will get it back.
Duncan posted a photograph of the two brothers celebrating the historic victory together.
He said: “Stew is lucky to be alive — and lucky to be the only Leicester fan who gets to celebrate our league title win two times over.”

He joked as his brother recovered in Leicester Royal Infirmary: “Every cloud does have a silver lining.”
Stewart, of Hinckley, Leics, was set upon after travelling to Marseilles to see England’s opening game against Russia.
British and French cops hunting the attackers are treating it as attempted murder.
Duncan said after £25,000 poured into an appeal fund for his brother: “The family are totally humbled.”
Mr Gray wrote: "The main reason for this post is to thank everyone for the incredible support the family has received over the last couple of weeks.
"I have received over a thousand messages of support for Stew, and I have read out every single one to him.
"In fact I like to think this is the main reason he has pulled through."
In the latest post on the fundraising site, a friend of the family wrote: "Stew is back in the UK after transfer by air ambulance from Marseille.
"He is currently residing in the high dependency unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
"Wonderful news for everyone and particularly, the man in question. Love to all who have helped this absolute legend."
Another England fan was also left in a coma.
Andrew Bache, 51, is now in hospital in Southampton.
