What is the Frazzledrip conspiracy theory?
QANON supporter Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene pushed a baseless conspiracy theory years ago targeting prominent Democrats called Frazzledrip.
The unhinged claim has deep ties to the QAnon and Pizzagate conspiracy theories and first surfaced on YouTube in 2018.
What is the Frazzledrip conspiracy theory?
The kooky “frazzledrip” theory first surfaced on the conspiracy site YourNewsWire, now known as News Punch, in April 2018.
The theory claims that a video found on the laptop of former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner, who was jailed for sexting with a minor in 2017, began circulating on the “dark web,” according to
The video – which, to be clear, doesn’t exist – was allegedly found in a folder on the laptop’s hard drive called “life insurance” and was titled “frazzledrip.”
The fake report claimed that the video allegedly showed Hillary Clinton and her former aide Huma Abedin, Weiner’s ex-wife, abusing a young girl.
At the end of the so-called video, Clinton and Abedin drink the girl’s blood during a Satanic ritual sacrifice.
According to Vox, hundreds of YouTube videos, each with thousands of views, are dedicated to the violent and untrue conspiracy theory.
What did Marjorie Taylor Greene say about it?
Controversial Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene made Facebook comments about Frazzledrip in May 2018, which recently resurfaced in a report by the nonprofit organization .
The report came days after she was slammed for liking social media posts calling for the execution of Clinton and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Greene shared a photo of the mother of slain NYPD detective Miosotis Familia, to which a commenter replied that Familia had “watched a horrific video” allegedly ripped from Weiner’s laptop.
Screenshots taken by MMFA show that the person claimed that the video showed Abedin and Clinton “filleting” a child’s face.
Green liked the comment and replied: “Yes Familia.”
In a follow-up comment, she said: “Most people honestly don’t know so much. The MSM disinformation warfare has won for too long!”
What did Marjorie Taylor Greene say about Dr Fauci?
In 2021, Greene compared Anthony Fauci to “Dr Frankenstein” and claimed Democrats treat the US government like “a church.”
likened Fauci‘s Covid-19 response to Victor Frankenstein’s fictional experiments, which saw the mad scientist create a monster in Mary Shelley’s 1818 horror story.
Her tweet read: “Dr Anthony Fauci repeatedly lied and must be fired and investigated. His Dr Frankenstein experiments are evil.
“The only way to clean up America is to get rid of those in government that think they can play God and use the government like some sort of church.”
