Wild vid shows thief shattering moving car’s back window and ‘stealing drone and $7k equipment’
THIS is the wild moment a thief shattered a moving car's back window and allegedly stole a drone and $7,000 worth of equipment.
Dashcam footage from a nearby Tesla captured the Friday afternoon robbery in San Francisco traffic.
In the video, a black Honda is seen pulling next to a silver Prius before a man jumped out from the rearseat and into the street.
Moments later, the thief is seen bashing the Pruis' back window.
Barghabany, who was in the car alongside his wife, told the news outlet he suspects the theif began following him after he was using the drone outside his house.
The pair were at a stop on the Interstate 80 on-ramp when the incident occurred.
The driver of the Tesla recalled the shocking incident to KRON4.
He explained: "I see this black Honda Accord just cut off you know a lot of traffic which is pretty normal for the Bay Area but then I see this guy get out of his car and then I realized okay something is about to happen."
