Top US Navy penpusher investigated after being caught on camera waving gun around outside his home

A SENIOR US Navy penpusher is being investigated after he pulled a gun on some young men.

Karnig Ohannessian, whose rank Deputy Assistant Secretary makes him one of the most senior civilian officials responsible for the force, was caught on camera as he brandished the firearm at the group, who he said were hanging around outside his home in Fairfax County, Virginia, US.

He said to the men as he pointed the gun: '”I can shoot the f*** out of you guys right now.”

Ohannessian accused the group of being drunk.

In the clip one of the men claims: “You're pointing a gun at my friend. This is a criminal offence, so please stop it.”

One of the others adds: “Be thankful you have that gun, man. It shows what kind of a f*** you are.”

At one point a woman, who is thought to be his wife, comes out and tries to calm the navy official down.

According to , a complaint has been filed against him, by one of the young men’s mothers.

It has also been revealed the Department of the Navy has been told about the incident, but far no charges have been filed.

Ohannessian, as Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Navy on the Environment is one of its most senior officials.

So far there has been no comment from The Department of the Navy.
