Kids take legal action against social media app saying they’re  being corrupted by raunchy content

A GROUP of kids is taking legal action against Snapchat, claiming they are being exposed unwittingly to sexually explicit content.

The group have taken on lawyer Mark Geragos to act on their behalf – he filed a lawsuit against the social media app on Thursday.

According to , the papers claim the new feature – Snapchat Discover, has subject matter which is just too rude.

It curates posts from a variety of different media outlets.

The suit which has been filed on behalf of the minors is aksing for a $50,000 penalty for any stories which violate the Communications Decency Act.

It also asks for an order forcing Snapchat to warn parents and minors of graphic content.

The lawsuit comes in the wake of the social media app launching a selfie storage facility called ‘memories’ which enables users to save pictures and short films.

It means that anyone who wants to take an X-rated selfie can now keep hold of it before it self destructs forever.

It is called “a personal collection of your favourite moments” and is currently being rolled out globally.
