THE stepdad of glamour girl Katie Price has appeared in court charged with two counts of rape.

Yesterday Price, of Angmering, West Sussex, appeared before Chichester Crown Court to answer the charges.

Dressed in a smart blue jacket, dark trousers and a white shirt, he pleaded not guilty to both charges.

At the hearing  - which lasted 15 minutes - he also denied two counts of attempted rape on the same 51-year-old.

All the alleged offences were said to have occurred in a street in Worthing early one morning in March 2015.

Katie Price took her stepfather's name after he married her mother Amy in 1988.

She once wrote on her website: "Paul, my stepdad, became part of my life when I was just a little girl aged six.

"He has supported me all along and I feel as though, basically, he’s my real Dad."

The pair were pictured together in a photo of a party in 2011 which Katie tweeted with the caption: 'Me and my dad chillaxing..

Katie has not commented on the allegations but sources say she was ‘very upset’ after he was charged.

Her mother Amy split from Katie’s biological father Ray Infield when she was four and went on to marry Paul in 1988.

Price was bailed and will face a trial at Chichester in November.
