POLICE have carried out a controlled explosion of a suspicious bag found outside France's team hotel - just hours before their final showdown with Portugal.
Didier Deschamps' Les Bleus side are staying in Paris ahead of the tournament finale tonight.
It has now been confirmed there were no explosive in the bag, and that someone had just left it behind.
The road has been reopened.

"Likely false alarm but police taking no chances."
He later tweeted: "Bomb squad officer walked up to a bag.
"Laid a cable back to his van then blew up the bag."
He told Sky News: "We were standing outside alongside our media colleagues and around 500 to 1000 France supporters, who had gathered there.
