Hamza Bin Laden vowed to hold everyday citizens responsible for Western governments' actions

OSAMA Bin Laden's jihadi son has threatened revenge against the West for his father's assassination in Pakistan by U.S. Navy SEALs.

Hamza bin Laden, now aged in his mid-20s, said in a chilling audio message the terror group would hold American citizens accountable for their government's actions.

He said Al-Qaeda would continue waging jihad, or holy war, against the U.S. in response to its "oppression" of Muslims.

The audio message, released by Al-Qaeda's media wing, was titled "We Are All Osama".

"If you think that your sinful crime that you committed in Abbottabad has passed without punishment, then you thought wrong," he said.

Navy Seals stormed this house in Abbottabad in May 2011, killing Bin Laden

Bin Laden was killed in a May 2011 U.S. raid at his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

Acting on CIA intelligence, the raid saw a team of operatives flown across the border from Afghanistan who gunned him down when they stormed the building.

Hamza is the son of one of the three Bin Laden wives found living in the compound during the raid.

But the youngster himself - once dubbed the "Crown Prince of Terror" - was not present at the time.

His whereabouts today is not known. Analysts speculate that he may be preparing to take over leadership of Al-Qaeda.

He has long been considered the heir to bin Laden's throne of terror and has appeared in Al-Qaeda propaganda videos since he was a teenager.

Hamza provides a younger voice for the group whose ageing leaders have struggled to inspire militants around the world galvanized by ISIS.

"Hamza provides a new face for Al-Qaeda, one that directly connects to the group's founder. He is an articulate and dangerous enemy," according to Bruce Riedel of Brookings.
