Hilarious moment brazen seagull steals bag full of change from ferry’s moneybox

Plucky bird snatches the cash before flying away

A THIEVING seagull swooped down on a ferry before picking up the day's TAKINGS and flying away.

The newly-rich bird lifted £20 in £1 coins from a tin on the Greenway Ferry at Greenway Quay in Devon.

It wasn't the first time the "cunning seagull" had visited the boat.

Footage captured by a fixed camera on board  had earlier  filmed it rifling through a bag and stealing a newspaper.

Video of it taking the cash was captured by the same camera.

Greenway Ferry's wrote on Facebook. "Cheeky blighter. This has to be the most cunning seagull of them all."

Since it was posted online on July 5 the video has had more than 3,400 views on Greenway's Facebook page.

It has also had 74 likes and 20 shares.
