Pokemon Go has been released in the UK and it’s going to CHANGE EVERYTHING
Smash hit game FINALLY hits British shores after a delay which felt like an eternity
IT’S the gaming sensation that’s seen millions of people take to the streets in a search for virtual monsters.
Now Pokemon Go has FINALLY been released in the UK.
It is now available on the Apple App store, where it is likely to be downloaded by millions of people.
Like so many gamers, we decided we couldn’t wait for Nintendo’s official release date and decided to jump the queue with some clever jiggerpokery ().
But now you can OFFICIALLY get out into the world and start catching some monsters.
The rest of the world has been playing Pokemon Go for what seems like an eternity.
But despite the fact the game hasn't been released in the UK, the monsters have already been popping up everywhere.
A pesky little Pokemon Go character called Drowzee popped in to see what all the fuss was about at Downing Street yesterday.
The augmented reality character, and others nearby in Westminster, stayed away from No 10 during the Cameron family’s departure and Mrs May’s arrival, but he was on hand just after the Camerons left as the likes of Huw Edwards, Adam Boulton, Laura Kuenssberg and other TV presenters readied themselves for Mrs May’s appearance.
Whether it was in Downing Street, in A & E departments or even in public urinals, Sun reporters found the Pokemon Go characters dropping in to some bizarre locations across the capital.
The new craze encourages gamers to ‘catch ‘em all’ and fight animated monsters in the real world.
And despite having been available for download for just a matter of days, the game has already been linked to anecdotes of broken bones, dangerous driving and other serious injuries, as users follow the creatures across roads and fields with their eyes glued to their screens.
