Aunt and uncle of ‘Lotto Lout’ Michael Carroll both died of gunshot wounds, it’s revealed

Coroner confirms cause of death after Stephen, 47, and Allison Muncaster, 48, were both found dead at their home in Magdalen, Norfolk

THE AUNT and uncle of 'lotto lout' Michael Carroll each died as a result of gunshot wounds, police have said.

Stephen, 47, and Allison Muncaster, 48, were both found dead at their home in Magdalen, Norfolk, in what is believed to be a murder-suicide.

Their cause of death was confirmed following a a post-mortem examination carried out by a Home Office pathologist

Mr Muncaster's body was found in the garden of the bungalow, while Mrs Muncaster was found dead inside in the early hours of Tuesday.

It is thought the couple had been together for around ten years and a heavy police presence has been at their £200,000 property since the shootings.

The bungalow had been built following Mr Carroll's £10m lottery win in 2003.

Officers from the Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team will continue their enquires to produce a file for the coroner to review at an inquest at a later date.

Detective Superintendent Paul Durham said: "We would like to reiterate that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and are in the process of preparing a file for the coroner."
