Filthy home of Nice truck terrorist Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel revealed as police storm fanatic’s flat
Maniac Bouhlel zig-zagged across promenade in 19-tonne truck before opening fire, murdering 84 innocent bystanders
PHOTOS taken inside the grubby lair of Nice killer Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel have been revealed.
A torn-apart chest of drawers with its contents scattered across the floor can be seen through the entrance to the maniac's filthy flat.
Abandoned letters, crumpled clothing and a chair discarded in the centre of the room reveal the chaos left behind by the dad-of-three before his killing spree.
Bouhlel left the grim flat inside an unassuming apartment block and headed to the popular Promenade des Anglais to kill 84 innocent people, including 10 children.
Bare walls and plain furniture decorate the bland home, with no indication the man who lived there had a social life or family.
Police made an arrest after storming the building this morning following last night's Bastille Day attacks.
The 31-year-old French Tunisian was known to authorities as a violent criminal who had been in court as recently as March.
He was not on the anti-terror police's radar, but has a criminal record for domestic violence, theft and possession of weapons.
An arsenal of armoury was found in the back of the 19-tonne truck, including guns and grenades, after police shot the murderer dead half-an-hour after he mounted the pavement in Nice.
Chillingly police stopped Bouhlel, a delivery driver, earlier that day to question why he was parked on the Promenade des Anglais.
