Heartbreaking images of children still missing being shared on social media after eight-month baby found on Facebook

AN unidentified child seriously injured in the Nice terror attack has had "no visitors" in hospital to ID them.

The youngster is reported to have had no family or friends visit them , reports the , prompting fear for the child's family.

At least ten children died in the attack on Thursday evening during Bastille Day celebrations, and at least 54 are being treated in hospital.

But for some the heartache continues after loved ones started posting pictures of missing children online.

The haunting messages were posted on Twitter showing photos of smiling children and screenshots of frantic messages sent by parents to their loved ones with no reply.

Most have been shared via an account called Recherche NICE and retweeted hundreds of times in a bid help devastated parents track down lost loved ones.

Most of those posting will hope to have the happy ending like the eight-month-old baby reunited with his parents on social media.

The tot was tracked down via Facebook after Tiava Banner posted on the social networking site.

The young boy went missing in his stroller during the rampage on the Promenade des Anglais.

The post was shared more than 22,000 times until it was updated with: “Found! Thank you Facebook and all those who helped us.”

A member of the family said: “A young woman found him and took him home with her. She then went online and found the photo of the baby on Facebook.”

The woman then contacted the baby’s parents.
