THIS stunning pair of country cottages have gone on the market - but would-be buyers will need to be made of stern stuff.
The easily-spooked won't be putting their hands into their pockets for the lovely homes in Devon.
And that's because, along with the flagstone floors, tasteful conservatory and contemporary kitchens on offer, the properties hide their very own graveyard.
The cottages in tiny hamlet Prescott, near Cullompton, come complete with a Grade II*-listed chapel which dates back to 1715.
And the grounds, which cover more than an acre, feature a number of historic burial plots.
Estate agents Humberts of Honiton called the properties - on the market for £650,000 - "rare and fascinating".
"Prescott Cottages are a pair of attached cottages adjoining Prescott Baptist Chapel, a fascinating and historically important building," the agency said.
"The chapel is a handsome building.
"According to an inscription painted on the front porch, the original chapel was built in 1715, rebuilt in 1785, and then comprehensively renovated in 1892.
"It retains some fascinating features including a baptistry in the floor in front of the pulpit, and a vaulted barrelled ceiling with a first-floor gallery.
"The site is approached through wrought-iron gates which lead to a gravelled parking area in front of the chapel.
"The property includes two burial sites, which have been incorporated into the gardens, and several of the tombs also fall within the listing."
But for those who can get past the home's macabre surprise, there's plenty to enjoy.
The main property features two reception rooms, both with wood burners, as well as a kitchen and dining room recently kitted out with granite worktops, and a sun room with views over the garden
The second cottage is used as a holiday home for guests.
Outside the main property, the new owner will find a private garden with a small pond, decked seating area and lots of colourful flowers.
But there's one more secret in store - for in grounds to the east of the cottages, there's a second graveyard accessible to the public.
Elsewhere, a family home in North Wales hides a different kind of secret.
The unassuming property may look like a standard three-bedroom house, but its back garden gives the Love Island villa a run for its money.

The home's listing reads: “Please be advised that within the boundary of this property, namely the back garden, there is an electricity pylon.”
Photos of the property show the pylon slap-bang in the middle of the garden and towering over the three-bed property.
