Boy, 12, stabbed three times on bouncy castle after being attacked at sister’s 8th birthday party
A 12-YEAR-OLD boy was stabbed three times on a bouncy castle at his sister's 8th birthday party in a horrific knife attack today.
The schoolboy was chased by a knifeman who punched and kicked him before stabbing him three times in his leg,
Two men, believed to be aged 18-21, are said to have targeted the gathering in Bootle, Merseyside, as a group of children celebrated the boy's sister's birthday.
The cowardly thugs raced into the back garden before chasing the terrified boy and attacking him on the bouncy castle.
As the child lay helpless on the floor he was stabbed repeatedly in the leg.
Witnesses said the attackers walked calmly away from the scene of the chilling assault.
HORROR KNIFE ATTACK
The lad's family said he was rushed to hospital and will need surgery as he stays in hospital for a few nights.
His grandmother told the Liverpool Echo: "It was terrible.
"They came straight in the back garden and went for him, punching and kicking him and then stabbed him three times.
"There was a lot of blood so we just tried to keep pressure on the wound until the ambulance came.
"There was around 14 children in the garden and we got them inside as quick as we could."

The boy and a pal had were returning to the party after going to the shops when a row broke out with an older man, his family said.
Moments later, two yobs ran into the children's party and launched their sickening attack.
A friend of the boy who witnessed the attack was said to be "white as a sheet" and could "hardly speak" to police.
A relative said: "This all happened in front of the boy's mum, we can't believe this has happened, at a girl's eighth birthday party."
The attackers are still on the loose as police appealed for information to track them down.
A police spokesman said: said: "We can confirm an investigation is underway following reports of a stabbing in Bootle this afternoon, Wednesday, April 7.
"At around 2.25pm, officers were called to an address in Southport Road following reports a 12-year-old boy had been assaulted.

"Emergency services attended and the victim has been taken to hospital for treatment to a stab wound to his leg, which is not believed to be life-threatening at this stage.
