Downing Street spat sees PM’s puss Larry square up to Foreign Office feline Palmerstone

Fur flies as moody moggies meet up and scrap but did Mrs May's mouser give Bojo's beast paws for thought?

THE Prime Minister’s moggy Larry looks like he’s laying the paw down after a cat fight in Downing Street yesterday.

The claws were out as the No10 mouser scrapped with the Foreign Office’s feline Palmerston.

But despite Larry’s owner Theresa May giving a top job to Boris Johnson, the feline pair’s relationship doesn’t look as stable.

The pair, who are both rescue cats, were previously filmed squaring up to each other and hissing last week.

But yesterday, it turned to blows as the pair scrapped on Downing Street for several minutes before Palmerston eventually conceded defeat and ran away.

It seems that tabby Larry, like his new owner Mrs May, wanted to be the boss.
