Thief steals mum’s car with her children aged 5 and 8 inside – and then dumps them by the side of the road
The youngsters were left 'very distressed' following the incident in Ilford, London
A MUM was left distraught after her car was stolen - with two of her children in the back seat.
The woman left the pair, aged eight and five, in the vehicle while going to collect her third child just after 4.30 pm yesterday, police say.
After walking just a few metres, she heard the engine start and saw the grey Audi Q7 drive off from Roman Road in Ilford, north-east London, towards Uphill Road.
The car turned a corner into Fairfield Road before the kids were let out and reunited with their mum.
Neither child was hurt but both were "very distressed", according to cops.
