The Pokestop, where players can stock up on items for use in the game, is located next to a stone sculpture in Cinderford, Gloucestershire.

It forms part of a ‘discovery trail’ through the Forest of Dean town and was designed with the help of local primary school children.

They chose to use textured stone to reflect the local geology of the area and acknowledge the presence of a former quarry.

But Nintendo, who make Pokemon Go, clearly aren’t a fan of the modern art installation, which sits at the bottom of St. Whites Road in Cinderford.

It comes after trustees of the Forestry Commission unveiled a staggering £100,000 worth of modern art sculptures in nearby Beechenhurst, Gloucestershire.
