A WOMAN paedophile who sent naked selfies to five teens before having sex with one of them has been jailed for two years.

She befriended the first teen in 2015 and sent a number of naked snaps along with sexually explicit comments - after he told her he could "talk to her about things".

When the victim's friend came across the messages, he too contacted Wright who then sent nude photos and videos of a sexual nature to the lad, Nottingham Crown Court heard.

She continued to groom the boys by buying them presents until one of them agreed to a sexual relationship.

Wright was eventually caught out when one of the boy's dad saw the pictures on his phone and reported it to the police.

When cops searched her home they found 42 images on her iPad, which she had sent to the lads.

Wright pleaded guilty to one count of sexual activity and two counts of possessing an indecent photograph of a child at a previous hearing.

She was sentenced and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.

After the case, Detective Inspector Pete Quinn, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This was an unusual case in that the perpetrator was a woman.

"But this goes to show that although the overwhelming majority of sexual exploitation cases brought to the attention of police are perpetrated by men against girls, we cannot be complacent about the fact that it can happen to anyone, anywhere.

"The teenagers in this case have shown courage and maturity in disclosing what happened and I hope that the sentence handed down today will help them and their families move on from a very distressing time."
