US-backed Syrian rebels film themselves beheading 11-year-old boy for being a spy
The sick fighters taunt the child in the back of a pick-up truck before decapitating him
SICKENING footage has emerged of Syrian rebels decapitating an 11-year-old boy for being a spy.
The fighters are members of a militia which has received support from Arab and western countries including the US and UK.
In the shocking video the men can be seen taunting the terrified child, who they claim is a captured pro-government fighter.
They then appear to behead the young boy with a small knife as one of the rebels exclaims "Allahu Akbar".
The footage is believed to have been filmed in the Palestinian Handarat Refugee Camp in Northern Aleppo.
The thugs are part of the Nour al-Din al-Zenki militant group.
The disturbing video shot just before the boy is executed shows bearded militants taunting the raggedly clothed child in the back of a pick-up truck.
One of the depraved fighters can be seen grabbing the boy by his hair and slapping his face.
The bound child is then held face-down on the back of the truck as a thug draws a knife across his throat.
He then holds the boy's head in the air as he yells "Allahu Akbar" meaning "God is Great".
As the video ends the fighter can be seen putting the child's severed head back in the truck before he leaps off the SUV.
They claimed the boy was a member of the pro-government Liwaa Al Quds paramilitary group, comprised of Palestinians who have been driven from their homes by Islamist fighters.
The group is fighting alongside the Syrian Army in a bid to retake the camp.
The militants who killed the boy are part of the Nour al-Din al-Zenki group, part of the Levant Front and allied to the Free Syrian Army in their fight against dictator Bashar al-Assad.
They are also battling against ISIS and have in the past received money and anti-tank missiles from the US government.
