M&S car park ‘murder’ as driver, 26, is arrested for ‘mowing down and killing a man and leaving another seriously hurt’
A DRIVER has been arrested on suspicion of murder after he allegedly mowed down and killed a man and left a second seriously injured.
The suspect, 26, is accused of ploughing into the pair after a row in a car park outside a Marks and Spencer supermarket in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.

Surrey Police say they were called to reports of a row between a group of men at around 2.15pm on Thursday.
The force said one of the men got into his car, a white BMW, and reportedly drove into two others.
Officers and paramedics rushed to a loading bay in the car park after the horror.
However, despite their efforts, a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man was airlifted to hospital but is expected to recover.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, police said.
He was handcuffed and led away by officers.
The car park was yesterday closed, although the M&S store continued trading as normal.
Officers confirmed they are not currently seeking anyone else in connection with the incident while they continue carrying out enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Springett said police believes a row broke out that led to a "physical confrontation".
“From our initial enquiries, it appears that an altercation has taken place, leading to a physical confrontation," he said.

“Tragically, this has resulted in the death of one man and left another seriously injured and our thoughts are with their family and friends at this extremely difficult time.”
