Cheeky shoppers fill suitcases and car boots up with leftover food after Tesco fridges break down in soaring heat
Hundreds of fresh food products - milk, butter, ice cream and meat - have been thrown out

CUSTOMERS loaded up suitcases and car boots with meat and ice cream after fridges in Tesco broke and the food was thrown out.
This comes after the hottest day of the year for the UK yesterday, and temperatures are still high today - proving too much for the superstore's fridges to handle.
Hundreds of fresh food products, including butter, milk, ice cream, soup, meat and yogurts have been thrown out.
People have been taking full advantage of this and taking home as much of the discarded products as they can carry.
A notice on the fridges inside the stores say staff would help customers wanting products usually stored on the fridge shelves.
Bags, suitcases and any spaces in cars were packed with the goods and taken home.
Carts of yogurt, milk, butter and other perishable products were left outside the Cardiff store after the fridges packed up.
