ANDREW Brown Jr’s family and other loved ones said goodbye to the late father at his funeral on Monday.
The funeral was held in Elizabeth County on Monday (May 3), with a eulogy delivered by Rev. Al Sharpton.
Several family members spoke, as did relatives of George Floyd, another black man killed by law enforcement.
Attorneys for the family repeated calls at the funeral for the release of more bodycam footage from the shooting that killed Brown, which has not been publicly released.
His family disputes the police account of what happened during the shooting in North Carolina - and now demand to see bodycam footage after just two family members saw only 20 seconds of it last week.
The dad-of-10 was shot dead by cops in North Carolina during a drug-related warrant executed by police on April 21.

Khail Ferebee, the eldest son of Andrew Brown Jr, spoke at his funeral Monday and said his father would have "loved" the proceedings.
"I just wish he was here with us," he said. "As much as I'm going to wish and wish, wish all day, it's not going to happen."
"It’s a terrible way that we had to be together like this, but, you know seeing everybody, I’m glad we’re together like this right now."

At Andrew Brown Jr's funeral on Monday, his family's attorney Ben Crump again demanded the release of more bodycam footage from the scene of Brown's death at the hands of law enforcement.
"We know that it was a reckless, unjustifiable shooting," said Crump.
"The video is going to have to come out, because as we stand in the house of God, we know a lie cannot live forever."

"The audacity to take somebody's life, to rob children of their father and you try to act like the issue is who came to help them rather than what you did to them.
"The issue is not why we came to town or how we came to town the issue is why we came to town."

The Brown family's attorney Ben Crump said at the funeral that he "demands" that all the police footage in the death of Andrew Brown be released.
"The video is going to have to come out because when we stand in the house of God, we know that a lie cannot live forever," he said.
'WE WANT TO BE FREE'
Attorney Bakari Sellers spoke at Andrew Brown Jr's funeral and had strong words for the mourners and other viewers.
"The systems in this country have to be torn down and reimagined so they can include Andrew’s children and all children," he said.
'IT IS UP TO US TO MAKE THE PLEA FOR TRANSPARENCY'

After the service, she that it was important for her to come to North Carolina to show support.
