A man in a red t-shirt who can be seen running past the gunman was later pictured dead with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.

The chilling video emerged as German officials warned that the multiple suspects involved in the terrorist atrocity were still at large on Friday night.

But the latest reports suggest the gunman acted alone and may have shot himself dead.

At least 10 people have been killed according to police, which may include the gunman.

The scale of the initial manhunt led security forces to shut down all public transport in the Bavarian city as it was believed several suspects made their escape on the Metro.

The gunman is also said to have shot children in the McDonald’s restaurant while shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’, according to a horrifying eyewitness account.

He loaded his weapon in the bathroom before walking out and massacring those inside, a woman named only as Loretta told CNN.

ISIS-supporting social media accounts have praised the atrocity, which further suggests it was an Islamist plot.

However police had refused to confirm Jihadist links to the attack.

There are also fears the shooting was carried out by far-right gunmen to mark the fifth anniversary of fascist brute Anders Breivik's massacre in Norway.
