WHO'S BEHIND THE HORROR?

Speculation grows over what evil group could be responsible for Munich terror shootings

THE Munich shopping centre terror attack has all the hallmarks of an ISIS-inspired act of savagery.

But questions are being raised about the gunman's true motive as his evil rampage comes on the fifth anniversary of the Anders Breivik massacre.

There are also witness reports saying the attacker shouted "F*** foreigners" during the assault.

One video even seems to show the shooter screaming "I'm German" from the car park of the shopping complex.

At least ten people are dead and several are wounded after a gunman went on a killing spree in the Bavarian city on Friday evening.

Horrific footage even shows the moment the killer emerges beside the McDonald's restaurant at the city's Olympic shopping centre.

It is the third major terror attack in Western Europe in only eight days.

The French city of Nice was rocked by a horrific truck attack which killed 84 people last Thursday on France's national Bastille Day holiday.

Just four days later, 17-year-old ISIS fanatic Muhammad Riyadh wounded five people on a train just a few miles from the scene of the shopping centre atrocity.

ISIS-supporting Twitter accounts have praised the assault on the Munich Olympia shopping centre, suggesting the terror group's involvement.

One said: "Thank God, may God bring prosperity to our Islamic State men", according to Reuters news service.

But Munich police spokesman Marcus da Gloria Martins told press there is no indication as yet that the atrocity was carried out in the name of Islamic fundamentalism.

That is despite eyewitness reports suggesting the gunmen shouted "Allahu Akbar".

It raises the prospect the attack might have been carried out by a far-right German extremist in the image of Norwegian far-right killer Anders Breivik.

Evil Breivik killed 77 people, many of whom were teenagers, in a coordinated bomb and gun attack in Oslo and on the island of Utoya on 22 July 2011.
