Action also taken against nurses who criticised work online and one who groomed a 14-year-old child
SEVEN nurses and medical workers have faced disciplinary action in the past year for making racist comments or criticising work on Facebook.
Lisa Kane said of her Muslim patients: “More in there than Kabul. Get them out of my country.”
She lost her job at South Tyneside Trust.
Clare McLean boasted how she was hungover and faced a 12-hour shift.
She also breached professional guidelines by labelling her workplace a dungeon, and posting a picture suggesting elderly patients turned into Gremlins at night.
Chesterfield Royal Hospitals trust fired her.
